The Provincial Chapter delegates had an outing day during Chapter. The visit was focused to the place called Kolar Gold Fields (KGF), with a special focus on making it a Pilgrimage of Hope. The gold fields have not been functioning for several years. The outing mainly included visits to the churches in KGF, among them the historic Our Lady of the Mines Church. The hospitality extended by the priests of the different churches was remarkable. They generously provided the entire group about 35 members with lunch, tea, and snacks.
